How to reach Ahmed Shah Tomb?
There is no public transport that directly connects (The only reason, probably because the tomb is in a dense area of Ahmedabad. Even in afternoon there is much traffic, so walking is the fastest option).
It is 3 km (walking distance) from Ahmedabad Railway station and 1 km from the central bus station of Ahmedabad.
The tomb is beside of Manek Chowk: best place to eat in Ahmedabad and Manek Chowk Market. As a result is a great place for shopping and food.
Duration and best time to visit
Total visit time will not take more than 15 mins. As far as best time, you can visit anytime. But to advise you prefer visiting in morning and evening. Basically due to temperature in afternoon.
I didn’t found anyone guiding the monument. Though it was clean. There were few ladies probably to take care and cleaning the place.
